Amelia’s iPad Case – Follow a project in progress…Part 3

February 12, 2013: Day 3 (Only day 3 for posting…I’ve been doing some work on it)

This is a Lamb skin in tobacco brown…if you can imagine how soft melted butter is then you have an idea about this leather. I searched for a long time online before finally finding this gem of a hide, then had to wait for it to arrive.  Amelia wanted a decorative flap on the front of her case…she says it’s purely decoration and NOT to hide all my hard work…we’ll see about that…LOL

My lighting and photo skills are lacking…but I promise it’ll look great when I’m done!

As you can see, I have started lacing together the main body of the case which will hold her iPad.  Very tedious…I have learned that I am not much of a lacer from this project.  Maybe I’ll develop a liking for it before too long!
